Situated on the banks of the Parramatta River, River Canyon Restaurant moved to its current location in 1984; During the late 1960s it was called The Copper Canyon, an institution then, and was situated on Church Street, near to the Lennox Bridge & beside the River Side theatres; During the 70's it was "The Place", upmarket and frequented by business people with lots of business lunches. Italian owners & brothers Michael & Frank Agostino relocated Copper Canyon to bigger premises at its current location in 1984 and renamed it as River Canyon We are now 26 years old; in the current location and is the oldest surviving restaurant in Parramatta and still going strong
